I have been a school counselor for almost 20 years and have worked with students in all grade levels.  My passion and talents lie with working with middle level students.  The middle years may be the most difficult for students to navigate but there is also the greatest potential for positive, life changing growth to occur.  One of my deepest professional joys has been to assist students with discovering their own unique gifts as they progress through middle school.

 

I have developed a strong belief in the power of teamwork and the collaborative process.  I feel that "together we are better" and we owe it to our students to provide the best educational team possible.  Toward that end, I have had special training in the Tribes TLC process.  Tribes is a process that creates a culture that maximizes learning and human development.  I am proud to report that 100% of the professional middle school staff are Tribes certified.

 

I am a father and husband and this provides the focus of my life.  My wife, Amy, is also a school counselor and our children, Emma and Elle attend Neenah Joint Schools.  I am also a "doggy daddy" to my second English Setter, Cali.  I am an avid fly fisher and upland hunter and have a passion for traveling widely in search of trout, grouse and scuba diving sites.  I enjoy writing  short stories about my adventures and a few have been included in regional publications .
